Michael Shine
(TEP), a graduate of University College, London, Member of the English Bar, and subsequently a Solicitor of the Supreme Court, founded the firm in 1977. Served as a member of the Ministry of Justice Committee for the Revision of the Israel Companies Ordinance. Mr. Shine is an expert on international private investment banking having served on the Boards of several private banks and acted as consultant to the latter, global estate and tax planning, multinational family asset structuring and protection, trust law and international trust administration.
He is the author of the chapters on Israel in the “Encyclopedia of International Trust Laws” and in “Offshore Centers of the World” and is the co-author of several articles published in leading law journals on the subject of M & A's, international taxation and the use of trusts.
Shira Shine
(TEP), a graduate of the University of Manchester (U.K), chairs the Trust Committee of the Israel Bar Association and is the author and co-author of many articles published in leading law journals on the subject of M & A's, local tax and international tax planning, the use and taxation of trusts and asset protection.
Advocate Shine has developed an acknowledged expertise in the formation of family trusts and structures.
She was elected as one of 100 leading lawyers worldwide for the year 2011 in the area of taxation by Leading Lawyer 100 – Lawyer Monthly Magazine and was declared a winner by Corporate International Global Awards 2010 for her contribution in the area of international tax planning. She is a Senior Partner in the firm and heads its private client sector.
Alon Shine
(TEP), a graduate of the Interdisciplinary Center Herzlia, holding two degrees, L.L.B and B.A in Business Administration, majoring in finance.
Advocate Shine has developed an expertise in International tax planning and multinational financial asset structuring and protection. He manages the financial division of the firm’s International Practice and leads investments for the firm’s clients in real-estate projects, startup companies and financials, including hedge funds, private equity funds and tailor-made financial products which are designed personally for the firm’s clients (local and international).
Amit Segev
A graduate of Tel Aviv University (L.L.B and degree in Economics), member of the Real-Estate Committee of the Tel Aviv-District Israel Bar Association, and has published several articles in local leading law journals on the subject of real estate transactions.
Advocate Segev supervises the commercial and residential real estate transactions handled by the firm, as well as the civil commercial litigation department, which represent mainly foreign residents and corporations.
He has acquired expertise in all aspects of Land Taxation (pre-rulings, objections and appeals) as well as the implementation of relevant aspects of trust law and international taxation.
The firm is boutique in size, with a dedicated team of attorneys. The firm’s staff is 32 and consists of 4 partners, 10 associates, 2 articled clerks, 3 financial managers, 3 compliance officers and three in-house tax consultants.
